Integrating Google Apps with other Platforms

As Google APIS continue to improve there are more ways to integrate them. The pages on this site reflect the technologies available at the time, so I thought I should bring together the pages that are on this subject under one heading so it’s easy to see what the latest way to do things is. I’ll be curating this page over time to organize the various pieces throughout the site, and it will contain both Microsoft and Google Technologies

• The sheets V4 API – this is the current best way to get data between Excel and Sheets.
• Get Data From Google Docs – this still works but not the best way nowadays
• Execution API and Office to Apps migration – if you are doing more than just exchanging data, this allows you to control sheets from excel and run Sheets apps.

• Using the Sheets API to make apps script respect filters
